Olympic fever hits Westgate school summer fair!

Olympic fever has hit staff and pupils at Morecambe's Westgate Primary School as they set to work with their own challenge of building an Olympic theme for this year's summer fair on the evening of Friday, May 25 2012.

The challenge is all the greater in that they are hoping that this year's fair can top last year's record breaking event which raised £2,260  just £60 more than the previous record set by the 2010 event.

Register your company team today!  This is a wonderful team building event that will benefit a very special charity, our charity member Derian House Children's Hospice.  You only need a team of 21.  Twenty paddlers and one drummer. You do not need to be athletic to participate just willing to have a great time.

They require a deposit of £100 to enter with payment in full due June 9th.  In addition to the £315 entry fee, we ask that each team member seeks individual sponsorship of around £100, or as a team you aim to raise suggested sponsorship of £1000.

Corporate sponsorship of the boats will be available at the cost of £300 plus production of the vinyl banner to be placed on the boat.  These banners will measure 2.5 meters x 20cm.
